Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to SwiftMasters. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, including enrollment in our iOS development courses. By accessing our website or enrolling in our courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access our website or services.

2. Definitions

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • "Service" refers to the website and all educational services provided by SwiftMasters.
  • "Course" refers to any educational program, class, workshop, or training offered by SwiftMasters.
  • "Student" refers to any individual who enrolls in a Course.
  • "Content" refers to all materials, information, and resources provided as part of the Service, including but not limited to text, images, videos, code examples, and course materials.

3. Account Registration

When you register for a Course, you may be asked to provide certain information, such as your name, email address, and payment details. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update this information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Course Enrollment and Payment

4.1 Enrollment. Enrollment in a Course is subject to availability and is not confirmed until we receive full payment. We reserve the right to refuse enrollment for any reason.

4.2 Fees and Payment. Course fees are as stated on our website at the time of enrollment. All fees are in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment must be made in full before the Course start date, unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed upon.

4.3 Payment Methods. We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods as specified on our website. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Student Cancellations. If you need to cancel your enrollment in a Course, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancellations more than 14 days before the Course start date: Full refund minus a €50 administrative fee.
  • Cancellations 7-14 days before the Course start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations less than 7 days before the Course start date: No refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

5.2 Course Changes or Cancellations by SwiftMasters. We reserve the right to change Course dates, instructors, or content, or to cancel a Course due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation by SwiftMasters, Students will receive a full refund of fees paid or, at the Student's option, transfer to another scheduled Course.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership. All Content provided as part of the Service is owned by or licensed to SwiftMasters and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The SwiftMasters name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of SwiftMasters or its affiliates or licensors.

6.2 License to Students. Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content solely for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. Students may not copy, reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit the Content for any other purpose without the prior written consent of SwiftMasters.

6.3 Student Projects. Students retain ownership of original work created during a Course. However, by enrolling in a Course, Students grant SwiftMasters a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and showcase Student projects for marketing and promotional purposes, with attribution to the Student.

7. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during all Course activities. Disruptive behavior, harassment, discrimination, or any other behavior that negatively impacts the learning environment will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Course without refund.

8. Technology Requirements

Students are responsible for ensuring they have access to the necessary technology to participate in the Course, including a Mac computer with the minimum system requirements specified for each Course. SwiftMasters is not responsible for any technical issues with Student equipment or internet connectivity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftMasters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service;
  • Any content obtained from the Service; or
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

In no event shall SwiftMasters' total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service during the 12 months prior to such claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SwiftMasters, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
